How to choose your professional oven gloves

Contact heat gloves for oven

To avoid burns (caused by contact heat) you need a glove with good thermal insulation, such as our F2/15 glove.
Its special inner reinforcement layer is designed to provide high protection for repeated contact at 250°C. In addition, a membrane placed on the palm and fingers limits the passage of steam or hot sweat that is deposited during work activities.

Mitten not for you? Need more precision? Try the three-fingered C1/15: it is made of the same materials as the F2/15, but the 3-finger design allows for greater grip.
If the contact heat source is really high (up to 350°C) we suggest you to try the Silitherm S2XKS/18XK glove, which is made of para-aramid fabric with a silicone coating, reinforced with a special fireproof insulation, with a breathable waterproof membrane. The palm and back are lined with cotton. Aramid fibre is a technical fabric known for its intrinsic qualities of heat resistance and mechanical hazards.

Heat-resistant gloves against liquids and steam

The second greatest cause of injury for those who work in the kitchen is damage caused by strong steam, hot liquids, oils or fats. This is the proof that for your work you need a glove that protects you without leaving room for misunderstanding.

That is why we have created the new Silitherm Cook line: gloves and mittens certified for contact with hot foodstuffs and fully lined.

The inner reinforcement on the palm and fingers ensures protection from contact heat up to 350° according to EN 407 for thermal hazards.

Is food contact compliance required in your workplace?

Based on recent laboratory testing, the Silitherm Cook gloves can come into contact with a variety of hot foods, meeting the required safety standards.

Unlike our other gloves, they can also be sanitized quickly and easily, in fact, you can rinse them under running water and let them dry when hung up.
